The harvest increased by 7% over the\nprevious week. Despite the good progress, it remains far below the average,\nespecially when compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The weekly survey by SAFRAS\nindicates that, until July 14, the harvest of Brazil\u2019s 20\/21 season reached 63%\nof the production estimated at 68.10 million 60-kg bags. As a result, 42.86\nmillion bags had already been reaped. The progress is well below the same\nperiod last year, when it reached 75% of production, but only slightly below\nthe 5-year average of 64% for the period. The faster work pace in recent weeks\nexplains this approach towards the average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the case of arabica, the harvest\nreaches 54% of production, against 68% at the same time last year, and in line\nwith the 5-year average. The average quality profile of the cup and grain size\nconfirms a good quality crop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conillon harvest is 84%\ncomplete. Despite this, it remains below the same period last year (90%) and\nalso far below the 5-year average (93%). The COVID-19 protocol helps explain\nthe progress of the work.
